    Licensed B1 Aircraft Mechanics

    Project description:

    Represents Embraer and the maintenance centre to the customer
    – Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of own workspace and of the hangar

    – May be the direct interface with the customer for technical matters directly related to maintenance

    -Contributes proposals for continuous improvement and development of services supplied

    – Carries out in compliance with good practice maintenance tasks assigned on a daily basis
    – Records job in English and has it validated by a designated authorized person
    – Makes a precise report of details task details of maintenance performed and the time actually spent

    – May supervise workshop aircraft projects, including quality control of sub-contractors’ work
    – Supervises and monitors tasks carried out by aircraft technician beginners

    – Makes his/her technical knowledge available for remote trouble shooting (AOG)
    – Makes his/her technical knowledge available for preparation of modification files

    – Carries out operations in compliance with manuals supplied and with main contractor’s instructions (MOE)
    – Observes safety regulations and quality procedures
    – Confirms inventory of tools used at end of each day and before any aircraft exits
    – Checks correct tools available before and after use

     Guarantees that operations are carried out in compliance with the current manuals
    – In-depth regulatory knowledge in his/her field of activity
    – Ensures that the manuals in use are current

    Has knowledge of Embraer Group’s Technical Support, of the Customer Support Executive (EEC and guarantees) and Embraer VLP

    – Reports to the Team Leader on his/her activities, including errors and anomalies, whether caused by him/her or not
    – Reports to the Maintenance Manager
    – Participates to the continuous improvement projects

    – Prepares on own initiative tasks and missions allocated (in AOG)
    – Carries out fault diagnoses both on site and on line
    – Delivers release to service approval of tasks and aircraft within regulatory limits of own authority
    – Issues Form 1 for aircraft components
    – Trains aircraft technicians beginners and I
    – Participates to the continuous improvement projects

    – May be required to carry out interventions on line or on stand-by, in France or abroad

     APRS + Licence B (B1 and/or B2)

    – Aircraft technical qualification necessary (QT)
    – Minimum 5 years of experience
    – Read, write and speak English
